Product Manager @ growing Start Up (NYC- Onsite)
Salary $150k - $200k (+ equity)
We aspire to build the best team of the 2020s. Just like PayPal in the 90s, Google in the 00s, and Stripe in the 10s, we want to be known as "a place where it's good to be from." If you join us, we promise to be the best place to grow your career — with the best people you've ever worked with. We’re also working on a very bold mission.
We think the most important problem and opportunity in information technology is accelerating the inevitable transition from a world where users go to many functional applications, each of which has a siloed view of that user, to one where apps/agents/services come to a user controlled data store and are composed into useful solutions for that user. And we’re looking to get there by building something really fun and useful that people choose to use regularly as they go about their life.
What we’re building
Our Client’s product helps users passively track their consumption, connect with others through shared interests, and gain insights about themselves from their data. And, in return, users get a personal data store and the ability to provision access to their credentials and data at-will, gaining a passport to a more agentic internet. We've helped >400,000 users re-aggregate >1B data points so far.
The future is personalized experiences powered by user-controlled data, this depends on dynamic and transportable user data. We’re building a future where apps and services come to you and your data—not the other way around.

You’re likely a good fit if you are:
ex-Consumer or Gaming Founder or Product Manager with 5-7 years of product building experience (worked with designers, engineers, analytics, UXR, etc.).
Ideally, you have a technical degree or experience in software engineering — and if no technical degree experience working closely with technical teams and shipping product with them.
Skew Execution-Oriented versus want to “own product”: You excel at shipping high-quality products on time, owning execution from specs to launch — taking input from relevant functions fluidly as you go. You know how to create containers for people to participate while reducing time-to-decision, eliminate blockers, and maintain momentum across the team.
Strategic & Ruthlessly Prioritizing: You can cut through the noise to identify the most asymmetric bets that drive growth, engagement, and retention. You are comfortable saying no and making intentional trade-offs — and you do it in a way that leaves everyone with a positive outlook and mindset.
Team Glue & Expert Communicator: You create clarity, alignment, and efficiency across product, engineering, design, and marketing. You ensure everyone is in sync, and no work is wasted due to miscommunication. This includes helping with documentation and/or processes that empower the team vs. burden the team.
Psychology wizard that loves Nikita Bier: Nikita is one of our advisors, and we’re looking for someone who can channel Nikita’s approach to consumer product building. You’re a student of anthropology and user psychology.
Organized, But Adaptable: You continuously refine the product development process, balancing structure with speed. You thrive in ambiguity and bring clarity to complex, fast-moving environments.
Bias for Action: You move fast but thoughtfully, ensuring the team doesn’t get stuck in over-analysis or endless debate. You push decisions forward while maintaining high execution quality.
Comfortable at Any Altitude: You can zoom in and out, from big-picture strategy to hands-on execution, supporting sprint planning, issue triage, and backlog management when needed.
