Our networks are critical infrastructure - Meter is committed to democratizing access to state-of-the-art connectivity as it becomes increasingly fundamental to modern life.
To keep pace with our accelerating growth, we are hiring for the Deployment Operations team to deploy networks to customers ranging from the fastest growing AI companies, to the most established retailers and logistics companies, to the best schools and universities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to join a multi-disciplinary team, learn technical networking, improve our tools and process, and execute with precision and scale.
You will have an impact by
Deploying Meter's product across millions of square feet of commercial real estate
Ensuring stellar customer experience at scale by working cross-functionally with sales, customer success, technical support, and engineering
Accelerating operational capacity growth by refining our process and product
Empowering our supporting team of remote project coordinators through effective management, clear communication, and process improvement in service of scale
Improving Meter's cost efficiency and deployment quality by nurturing partnerships with installation vendors
What you'll do
Manage 5-15 concurrent network deployment projects of varying complexity and timelines, from same-day activations to 6-month buildouts
Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining at least weekly touchpoints with each customer
Translate business requirements into appropriate technical solutions by coordinating with internal teams and making judgment calls on product features and design decisions
Identify and resolve technical issues, scheduling conflicts, and customer requests that arise during deployments
Ensure projects meet established go-live dates, cost targets, and quality standards that result in resilient networks requiring minimal ongoing support
Challenge Example
You're working with a customer who is building a new 150,000 sq ft industrial facility with specific network requirements to support their IoT infrastructure. The construction timeline has suddenly been accelerated by 6 weeks, but their IT team is unavailable to make technical decisions during this critical period. It all comes down to: can you effectively translate their business requirements into technical specifications while maintaining the quality and timeline without their direct input?
